RESPONSIBILITIES:
Machinery & Equipment Operation: Safely operate, maneuver, and assist in maintaining modern agricultural machinery, including tractors, combines, seeders, and tillage equipment.
TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS:
Assist in the efficient handling, loading, and transportation of grain and harvested crops from fields to storage or distribution facilities.
CROP & FIELD MAINTENANCE: Perform daily crop care tasks, field preparation, irrigation management, weed control, and general farm maintenance. Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform basic mechanical checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on farm vehicles and heavy machinery to ensure peak operational safety and efficiency.
FARM SAFETY & COMPLIANCE: Adhere strictly to Canadian agricultural safety standards, environmental regulations, and farm protocols.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in farming, heavy equipment operation, or mechanical maintenance is preferred (training will be provided for promising candidates).
SKILLS: Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to follow safety guidelines, and comfortable operating large vehicles.
PHYSICAL FITNESS: Ability to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions, perform physical labor, and lift heavy items when required.
LANGUAGE: Functional English communication skills (written and spoken) to ensure workplace safety and effective team communication.
FBILITY: Willingness to work flexible hours, includilexing weekends and extended hours during peak planting and harvest seasons.
